Default What is this wire

it has two wires green with red stripe/green with white stripe and a two hole female connector

What model civic?....looks like the connector that goes to the sensor on top of the clutch pedal could be wrong tho...

Not absolutely sure, but they may be the two wires for the moon roof motor.

there is also another wire hanging blue wire with a brown male connector

Follow the wires back to their source. Where do they go? Possible aftermarket alarm system for the green wires?

Is the blue wire under the hood? If so, it might be for a test tachometer.

no both of the are under the dash and the pictured wire is ran into a main harness

not that i can dim my lights.. i found some other wires while tracing them and there was an alarm in there at one time

Is your Civic a Canadian model with daylight running lights?

Also, there's a GRN/WHT wire that runs to the brake light switch. It is needed for cruise control.



Is the connector for the cruise control unit plugged in?

the button on the dash lights up but when i push set there is no cruise light on the gauge cluster
