I have a GSR swap boosting 15 lbs on spring...i have low compression pistons 9:1 ...50 trim turbo ....SO HERES THE ISSUE ...out of the blue my car starts running beautiful!! hard 15lbs no boggin then i think i lifted my head because i was running stock headstuds ...the car started to run like shyt. so i bought arp headstuds installed them.car ran better for about a day then it just stopped boosting... wtf! no charge pipes blew off ,all clamps are tight ,no visible cracks or leaks ...BUT ALSO NO BOOST...im lost lost lost what can it be? sorry if my description was all over the place ....its just i cant figure this issue out!

 

run a boost leak test. Even if the clamps are tight, you could still be losing boost.

 

no boost? just no boost to your boost gauge or no boost from your turbine? when you installed your headstuds, did you torque them down properly with the molylube? check your compression. What wastegate are you using? 15lb spring? What is your EMS?

 

turbonetics delta gate wastegate...i just saw black marks by where the wastegate meets the manifold like a exhaust leak....no boost at all to gauge or from turbine...im runnin a chrome basemap

 

headstuds done right! torqued to 80 lbs w lube

 

if it's black, it's leaking. fix that first.

 

some1 said it might be stuck open ...im goin to unplug the vacum line from the wastegate n give it a drive see if it builds boost..ill keep u guys posted thnx
