Hey guys, i was trying to look around on how much power ppl have made on eagle rods and i cant find to much info. For b engines they rate them for up to 900hp 9500 rpm rev. I'v heard of ppl making 400 - 750 whp with them, then i seen a buddy or my just last week bend his eagle rod it was @ 560whp gsr 84mm. I also hear dsm guys crying about them saying they cant even make 450 without them going. Theres a lot of mixed info let me know what you think.

 

I made over 800whp with them. The same rods are still being used in a buddy's daily driver with no issues. With that being said, I'd probably go with the Manley H beams that are around the same price.

 

Manley and Eagles are made in the same factory. Just when they are cast Manleys are the best castings and Eagles are like the next to the best.

 

made 700 on them. no issues.

 

The HPC Shop car is making 850whp on eagles revving to 10k. The car is on 33psi + a 80shot of nitrous.

 

DSM owners breaking them on 450?

I made over 500awhp on my STOCK 6 bolt bottom end...

eagle rods in a buddies dsm are running 10.0s and 40 psi

 

3 setups all over 600 whp... currently at 660WHP on the third setup.

 

590WHP with them in my car no problems

 

i daily drive at 460 with a rev limit of 9.5k in my Honda , and i find it hard to believe they are breaking eagles at 450 in dsm's , considering iam making 443awhp on my OEM evo9 rods lol

 

thanks for the input guys. yea theres a dude i know that builds dsm and he's always douging me about having eagles he says they well break by 600. my last setup was a meld build and i had no problems with them. just wanted to see what others tested them at.

 

i just trapped 158mph tonight and im running eagle rods....this motor has over 10k miles on it

 

600+ on ls 28psi+60 shot

 

i have had 3 setups with the same set of eagles making well over 550 on pump and having the s**t beat out of it daily and no problems here

well i havent heard one neg thing about this rods so far other then my buddy sh8t talking them. this is also the guy that thinks hondas are a complete waste of money and you cant compare a dsm to one cause you can make a 1g so much more faster. But then again i tell him the only cars doing back to back 9s are hondas, supras, and evos and of course you got your hometown heros that go 9s with w/e they mite have but those are the cars that you see the most now on sports compact racing

 

712 hp 475 tq at 31 psi...revving to 9800..No problems
