its v-tec you douche, get a short ram intake, itll make your vtec ''louder'' and your butt dyno will think its kicking in harder

you can also exchange the intake rotary gurter shaft, if you change the splines on it it'll make your vtec(h) kick harder. lol on a serious note. the vtec crossover is supposed to be seamless.....it's not supposed to kick "harder" and if it's a single cam it's not gonna be that loud anyway. it's only variable on the intake side. but a cam or vtec eliminator cam would help out alot.

single cam VTEC will never "hit hard" like a DOHC. just be happy with what you have or do a swap

Get aftermarket Cam. That'll make it crack so much harder.

If you want to make it more obvious, change the engagement point. Like someone else said, it's meant to be seemless, which will actually perform better.
On my GSR swap, I can hear the engine get louder around 4400rpms, but it basicly just keeps pulling smoothly. Honestly, I'd even like it to be completely silent but maybe have just a little light turn on when the solenoid opens to actuate the crossover.
