i got a system and i have a good idea of how to install it but i dont know how to get the wires to the battery. I mean where are the factory holes in the firewall and how do i get to them. I think im going to go ahead and install that amp and errything in the trunk.

 

look under the hood at the firewall and try to find a rubber gromet and use it. you can use a straightened out coat hanger to poke through the gromet. just be careful not to hit any wires then tape your power wirre to the hanger, spray it with a little WD40 and pull it through. make sure to fuse the wire within 18 inches frrom the battery. good luck with your install!

hey i got a question i got the system installed but i need to install the rem wire and rca wire to the reciever but i cant get the damn thing out. I kinda got the housing around the shifter out but its not all the way out. And i took out the screw that releases the housing around the shifter and i took out the two screws on top of the tape player on the sides of it. but i cant get the damn thing out. i Think i need to get some screws on the botttom out but i cant really get to them cuz of lack of tools and space. some one help me what im missing.
