My head unit just died on me yesterday. I was cruising along, and the damn thing just died. I checking to see if it was the 15A fuse under the dash that goes to the radio/cigarette lighter, and it wasn't that. the fuse was fine, but to be sure, I put in a replacement fuse and still nothing. The cigarette lighter works just fine as well. Could it be a fuse has blown on the head unit? The thing has no power to it whatsoever, and all of the car's other functions seem to be fine. Thanks for any input.

Also... the head unit is a Sony cassette deck with the flip down face, and is rated at 50Wx4.

my hu died out on me last week, check the 7.5 brown fuse in the MAIN fuse box uder your hood. it's the "backup" fuse....btw, does your car clock work?
