Default ep3: car wont start after amp install

i have asked around on ephatch but thought id try here. i was installing a sub. had the battery unhooked. when i hooked it back up to test the sub and amp install everything worked fine. drove the car and came home. i realized the remote wire had touched the power wire causing the radio to turn on when the car was off. i fixed that fast but after that the car will not start. it cranks but wont start. i was told and also from my research that it might be the multiplexer or ecu. i was leaning more towards ecu. when i put the key in and turn it in the on position the green key light and the cel do not come on at all. my EPS and ABS lights do. and the gas gauge works. the radio will still work as will the subs. this is why im thinking ecu. anyone who can help thanks in advance

by the way the sub is a kicker 10" cvx the amp is a 250 watt. car is a 2002 civic si with pnf ecu. no hondata or anything all stock

i think those spots in the picture are glue. they dont feel like burnt rough edges.

does it look fine to anyone?

that doesnt look like glue to me but i could be wrong.
remote wire should always be wrapped with electical tape,
but i still dont think that could fry an ecu.
have you plugged a scan tool into it?
