I just picked up a gsr long block has 9;2;1 JE pistons sleve guard not sure if it has rods the head is gsr port and polished ctr cams stock internals how much boost should i push

check the rods to see if they are stock...whats your hp goal ask your self that...fresh build or been beat on already...another thing psi isnt everything when it comes to boost cfm has alot to do with it keep that in mind

 

Looks like you're off to a good start with that combination. Definately check the rods.

 

i wanted to make around 550 hp on e85 if posible ill check the rods this saturday you guys think this motor would take 550

 

all depends i can see why it wouldnt as long as those rods are not stock...only one way to find out...yea i think it will take 550....good luck let us know what happens

 

ok i took it apart and it has oliver rods so am good on that wat about the sleeves how much power can i get with out brakeing them
