Default Titanium connecting rods and boost?

I have heard mixed feedback on having titanium rods in a boosted motor. What do you guys think, is it a recipe for disaster?

Default Re: Titanium connecting rods and boost? (Tigfab)

Why does anyone need titanium connecting rods...when the steel billet connecting rods can handle over 1000WHP. It might benefit if it's used for all motor to reduce rotating weight.
