h22 coolant feed for gt turbo
I Want to go ahead and swap my sc61 for a gt35 this weekend, only problem i have is where to get coolant from on an h22 block? any help would be great. pics would also be great. thanks in advance!
I used T's in the heater core line, i put the T in so the coolant flows straight through the T to the turbo, also placed t's as close to block as i could. one T under dizzy, other at back of block, behind water pump, not sure witch direction coolant flows, but don't think it matters, i think its was 5/8" inch heater core line I used, kinda the cheap way but i think it should work, haven't finished it yet.... I'm only using car in summer anyhow so heater core valve will be closed, so coolant just flow though turbo
Another option I've heard of is those little coolant lines that go to the throttle control thing under throttle body, I didn't use them cause the looked so tiny and didn't think they would flow much......
I haven't seen any coolant line kits for h22 like the ones available for b.
