Default Integra Turbo Help

Ive got a turbo for my 94 integra : Number is T0759, Garrett Turbo, off a talon. The internal wastegate is set for 10 psi or so, can i turn this down to 7 or so? im running stock internals on a high milage engine that burns no oil and pulls hard, is there a safe psi number that wont blow it up?

Id the internal wastegate is set at 10psi then your answer is no it can not go down. My last setup consisted of a garrett t3/to4e turbo with a tial external wastegate on a gsr motor. I was tuned with my hondata s300 with 10psi. I ran the car extremly hard for 5,000miles then pulled it out an sold it to a friend. The motor was perfectly fine when I pulled it out. I just got done assembling my new setup which is a fully built b16 head with a fully built gsr block with eagle ls rods, je pistons an a stock micropolished ls crankshaft. So pretty much I built an ls/vtec inside a gsr block.

10psi from a DSM stock turbo against a T3/T4 hybrid at 10psi is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT POWER and use. That T25 couldn't hold enough boost to power a baby stroller. too much work for very little benefit. And no, it won't even make 200whp with it. Sell it for 50 bucks to a DSM owner
