Default Help me pick the remaining pieces =) Goal 12.0

Got a ls/vtec 84.5 9.0 compression (forged pistons/rods/sleeved/blockguarded - cuz the walls just looked so thin afterwards)
Gsr Cams
s200

This is going into a semi full interior integra that must run 12.0 . This is a daily driver also. So when you help me decide on the turbo, dont pick something like a gt42 because it'd be just so boring on the street lol thx.

I have a ram horn turbo manifold and a 44 tial wastegate.

Help me pick a turbo and an intercooler. List the spec I should go with. Please be cost effective with the decision also I was thinking of a t3/t4 of some sort or even the sc61, but I haven't heard much bout the sc61 lately. Were there some problems?

GT35R. Good over 500WHP, will get you that 12.0 easy with minimal lag (for that large of a turbo).

Nah, there aren't any problems with the sc61, but supply and demand called for a ~$100 increase. I remember when I could have purchased it for $675 - shoulda purchased it then. Now its like $750 or so.

Anyway, make sure you do your searching before you buy the turbo. If you're piecing together your own kit, piece it together wisely - then buy the turbo last.

Make sure you have your horsepower goals in mind first.

SC 61 will be fine, It could even be done easily on a T3/60-1. I ran the times in my sig on 11lbs and it has so much left in in.

On a side note, you can sleeve AND block guard and engine???

depends on if you want to hit 12.0's on BFG's or full slicks.

the times in my sig were on a 81mm block on a 18G and BFG's with AC, PS, full interior etc.

if it is an overbored B20 I would just scrap it now

your setup should hit 12.0 very easy... (w/ the right turbo).
