Default What rpm should my vtec engage

Alrighty I have a 1990 integra with a b17 block, b16 head and b16 trans. It has the vafc vtec controller and i was wondering what rpm to set the vtec to for the most performance out of it?

Stock is about 4500 RPM but the only way to find out exactly where to set vtec for the best performance is on a dyno

nope. stock b17 crossover is 5600. only the c1 has a lower point (44oo). on a c1 the butterflies open at 5600.

other part is right. dyno will tell you where to set it but with stock internals stock is probably best.
