Also every motor is different so it's best to find out on a dyno

For a turbo car...

Best way to do it is dyno the car completely on the low cam then repeat with the high cam (set VTEC as low as it will engage) then wherever the two dynos overlap should be your engagement point.

Lowering it doesn't mean your going to be slower. When I look at my Dyno graph, I can see that my tuner set it up where I begin to build boost

He most likely does not even know where it is set.

OP - If you have a completely stock engine and do not have a way to truly test it, it is best to just go with the factory engagement set point. You can use things like data logging and fuel maps to see where about it needs to be. Adjust it up and down by at least 200-300 RPM to have some sort of measurable difference. You are looking for the smoothest transition. You should NEVER feel VTEC engage. The butt Dyno almost always lies to you.

What is this "co-sign" crap I always see? Nobody is applying for a loan. Obviously your engagement is stupidly low and you don't want to be "stoned to death" over it. Engagement point doesn't even do much but shift the power band around. Your top WHP numbers will still come out to be the same either way. It absolutely does not have to be set on a Dyno, but is easiest to SEE on a Dyno.

An example. my older, urban slang-deprivedindividual

1. (In the positive) - to propound; to sanctify; to advocate the genuineness/veracity of another's character.

Example. "Who's the dude you came in with?"
"Oh, that's Dunny. Don't worry, man. I co-sign for him. He's cool."

2. (In the negative) - A.)To acknowledge and accept partial responsibility for the presence/actions of another person and the effects thereof, or
B.) To deny all responsibility and/or attachment to said individual and/or their actions and any effects thereof.
(positive scenario - your friend's party)

Example - (negative scenario - some random party)
"I think your buddy's about to get his *** beat."
"Who said he's my buddy? I just walked in next to him, I didn't co-sign for him."

Now that IS interesting. No matter how much I try to keep with the times, I always seem to fall behind. Thanks as usual "TheShodan".

In the "urban" community its a little deeper than simply "I agree", but yes it means that too.

Example: At the 0:34 mark
