I don't have abs, is there anyway i can?
What up i have a 1998 civic lx, like i said i do not have anti lock brakes and i was just wondering if there is anyway for me to get them somehow. Thanks all.
buy a EX model... but seriously it takes a whole bunch of parts and labor that its not worth it. any1 else feel free to tell him what parts he would need. its 2:45a and im going to bed!!
ABS is good on the track, your abs-less car will never be as good as one with ABS bc it has the ability to control each wheel independantly while as in a abs-less car when you brake, all wheels brake.
You probably dont need ABS but yeah its good to have in those situations of close accidents and snow, etc. Im not sure how you would go about doing it but yeah do a few searches and wait for replies too. Good luck

ABS is awesome but its too much work, time, and effort to put it in.
Just get some super sticky tires with some nice pads and you shouldnt have to worry about skidding as much.

yeah, it does. It doesn't work nearly as well in theory as it does in practice, and I find it somewhat unpredictable in some vehicles.
To the OP, adding ABS is a pain in the ***, you need to replace the master cylinder, possibly the brake booster, all the brake hardlines, you have to add the ABS pump, the dummy prop valve, wiring etc.
