help with abs question
ok my 2000 civic si was just lowerd 1" and i had new brake pads put in on the front only and now when I slam on the brakes it will just lock up the tires and they never did before. I also just drove my girlfriends 99 ex and i could feel the abs. so anyway, i was wondering if i have abs and the shop disconnected something and never reconnected it, or did I never have abs in the 1st place?

One way to know if you have ABS is by opening up your engine bay and see if the unit is there. Follow your brake hard lines to the proportion valve then follow and theyll either go: A. to the ABS unit, or B. to each brake (no abs)

Re: help with abs question (cambopheonix56)
i believe 99-00 si's did not come with abs..
if anyone knows the answer to this reasoning behind no abs, i would love to know. because i have locked up my tires a couple times unintentionally. and having no abs could be dangerous for people who dont know they dont have it, especially in bad weather!
