so i want to install my 00 si headunit into my 97 ex coupe. the connectors are different and my keyless entry runs through my stock headunit. any way around this in order to keep my keyless entry and the si radio?

 

you may have to look into an aftermarket alarm with keyless...
try hooking eveything up and see if it still works.
get the si harness and then the 97 harness that plugs into your car... match everything up
the keyless doesnt go through the si deck? i always thought it did.
but there is a stereo section that youll prolly get more help from....

there is a harness from crutchfield that will power both units so you can retain keyless. You will just need the harness for the 99 and wire it into the aftermarket harness.

on the 99-00 the brain for the keyless/security is seperate from the head unit.
