i just bought my first ever welder its made by cornwell tools and is a 165 mig welder. i wired up an outlet for it on the side of my car lift. a buddy of mine has it setup the same way at his shop with a bigger welder with no problems so i figured id do the same. my lift says 208 volts 30 amp btw. so i plug it in ready to test it and i get nothing. i can put my hand on the machine and feel it running "fan im guessing" but i hit the trigger and the wire doesnt spool out. can anyone give me any type of advice please id greatly appreciate it. on the welder it says 230 volt amp range 30-175. am i ust not getting enough juice to run this thing? any suggestions please.
