Default alpine type r sub

upgraded to a new sub, im still running a 2 channel amo and i havent seena way to make the sub work w/ the dual channel(4 ohm sub) i was thinking aobut bridging the amp to the 2 terminals on the back of my box then using the banna clips in the connectors and then jsut running the 2 wires from the box to the 2 outside post s of the speaker. input? i suck at this game. any other suggestiosns would help before i re wire this bitch

btw. no extra cashish right now to get a new amp, this sub was offered to me at a hell of a price so i couldnt turn it down, im looking for how to wire this the right way to get loud. one of my firedns has the same setup i have, but he had best buy install it so idk how its setup

Which type r is it? The DVC 4 ohm or the 2ohm? What are the specs on you're amp? Here's a wiring diagram: http://www.infinitysystems.com...n=USA
