Default Mpi swap few problems

So I did my mpi conversion today in my 88 civic So ill give you a low down of what the specs are

Using a full si engine wire harness

Got everything Wired up correctly started right up! Surprisingly

now for the problem

Runs good except for the idle is crazy out of control I dont know if its due to vacum or what.

I have not bolted up exhaust yet so its open header.... but i dont think that is causing it to idle surge like that

There is a piece missing from my throttle postion sensor but it plugs in and is wrapped with electrical tape.

There is one vacuum hose I don't have hooked up because its supposed to hook into a nipple on the back of the intake mani which i don't have my doesn't have should I tee it into the one that goes into the top of the throttle body ?

Also there is something else i dont know where it goes there is a nipple standing straight up on intake manifold on pass side does that go to other nipple on throttle body ?

appreciate your answers thanks

also i only used a jug of coolant its not full

check the wires on your throttle position sensor, the two outside wires have to be reversed.

not the best idea..... but whatever.

Once you rule out vaccuum leaks, check the FITV and the IACV.
