throttle body blues
i got a '99 base prelude with at. i just instaled a throttle body spacer. now my idle surges from 1,000 to 2,000 rpm. had dtc i think po108 map baro to high?
help anyone.

first of this my first import. i crossed over from gm. anyway i pulled out the spacer. same thing. let me give you the run down. i also by pass the 2 coolant hoses to the intake. was that my mistake??? help!!!

put the two coolant hoses where they belong and that will fix itguranteed leave the spacer but reconnect the two coolant hoses im sure that will fix it let me know after u do it

Yeah, those spacers do nothing. Did you install new gaskets when you did all this?
All the stuff you did won't cause any problems provided it was done correctly. You probably have a vacuum leak somewhere now of the FITV on the bottom of the throttle body is leaking and that is why your idle surges. (Search for FITV if you need more)
