Default Knocking noise continue even with head repaired?

My crx 86 makes a knocking noise when ever it's being revved up... I was hoping it was the cam problem as I had the cam, head, valves checked and fixed from an auto shop, I still have a knocking problem (but less problem this time as it was leaking oil in combustion chamber and blown head gasket). It appears to be that the head is okay and healthy, valves are healthy, but whenever I start the car up it makes some strange knocking noise from the engine I am very desperate now that I had put a lot of money for a head job... and what could the knocking be exactly from ? also should I post a video of how it sounds if it would make a good difference? If so, I'll record a video of how it runs by tomorrow then...

..or a rod bearing, either way, you may be able to get away with new bearings alone, or regrind a journal or two...the crank is junk only if its warped or cracked or if you don't trust your machine shop

Ticking problems:

RPM problem?:

In the rpm problem... I just see the needle jumping up and down strangely but I am not sure what that is about... and don't be fooled i gassed it several times to show you if it makes a difference...

Just thought I'd show these... and I'm hoping it's just the bearings to be replaced because I'm having stupid financial issues here...

sounds like a main or rod bearing issue. theres a possibility of the crank & block needing to be resurfaced depending on the damage. has the car always been knocking? or did you run it with no oil?

i would make the shop pay for it IF they were the ones who recommended you getting all the work done to the head.

Well, the thing is, with the head being repair was a different story and the guy only worked on the heads so there's no way I can make him pay (one man running business)... Well it started making it's noise when I haven't given it oil change ever since i got the car (like ran the car without oil change for almost a year which approximately ran 10,000 miles on it) but was when my father had been using it in the first place so I didn't know the story of the car very well as he did until I got these frustrating problems in the way... So I believe it was because of no oil change being involved... How long can I drive it until it can no longer handle??

Ok here is an easy way to see if you have spun a bearing is to drop your oil pan or drain the oil into a container that you can look in to then if you dropped the oil pan look in to it to see if you see any kinds of metal shavings or chunks or if you drain it your going to have to stick your hand in the oil to feel around for metal or strain it because if your finding piece of metal its a good sign you spun a bearing

I'll have to try that. One thing by the way, when I had the head being repaired, the man who owned the repair shop said he fixed my cam, which was "pitted" not sure if that also gives a clearer idea of the car.

Well that happens to cars over time because of high miles and insufficient lubrication like not changing your oil for 10,000 miles it is not the best thing to do because the oil starts getting thicker and doesnt move threw out your motor like its suppose to.

Rod knock. Maybe piston slap? Time to pull the block and send it in.
