Well I just recently got my Head machined and replaced my valve an piston rings by a shop. Although my car runs perfectly fine my engine makes a knocking sound. Im a little worried what could be the problem? Any suggestion or idea would be appreciated.

 

Have you checked the timing? Do the cam gears line up at TDC?

 

take that **** back to the shop

 

is it a knock or a tick? does it sound like its coming from the head or oil pan? if it sounds like your head then check your valve lash. did they reuse your rod bearings? if so are they reassembled in the original locations?
