ok i spun a rod bearing recently on my b18c1 so i was thinkingof just buying a b16 longblock and slapping it in there till i build up the b18c1, will everythin bolt up fine? tranny,axles, plus i have a p72 ecu. need some advice here.

As long as the tranny on the b16a is a hydro, everything will swap over.

yes everything works the same.
except your vtec is gonna engage at 4400 and you wont have secondaries.

 

everything will fit...everything is interchangable...if ur b18c1 was obd1 get an obd1 b16a...if obd2 same deal...

i dont care about the secondaries, i just want a longblock in there so i can drive the car, only thing is i have a turbo kit in there and im sure the upper pipe wont work cause of the difference in manifold placement.

b16's don't have a knock sensor either right? for a 92-95 civic i have to get the rear bracket from a 99-00 Si correct? all the other mounts should be fine?
