I have a built ls and when I start the car up it idles high then when it warms up it surges up and down, then when I start to boost it bogs for a sec then kicks In am thinking maybe the coolant thing upunder the throttle body????

 

Its possible, since surging idle is very indicitive of a vac leak. To explain the bogging, I'd have to ask if it was previously tuned before the surging/bogging. If its a basemap, there is no way to further diagnose the bogging since it's usually the basemap.

More info on your setup would be very helpful, since we don't know if it ran good before, if the builder screwed up with the rings, if it was running pig-rich (or lean) for 2k miles and messed up the motor, etc.
