big leak

Default big leak

ok i put an ls vtec in my hatch a couple of days ago today i went to start it and everything seems ok except a really bad leak coming from the back when i crank the motor over it pours oil out were could this be coming from? could it be my head gasket? i could really use some help on this so any info will help. thanks

is the head gasket on upside down? if it is it exposes the oil port that feeds the head. and pukes oil everywhere.

i got the ls vtec conversion kit for it and its all installd right but do i need to plug it from the bottom to? it seems like its coming from the passenger side of the motor

you have to tap the head and plug it with a 1/8'' npt plug.

I didnt think i had to tap into the head if i used the ls vtec kit

There are instructions in the kit if you bought the kit. It even comes with a tap and the plug to do it.

i did buy the kit but the instructions didnt say anything about taping the head but this is my first lsv swap so i dont know to much about it

yea i think i just need to get a new head gasket and do some lookin around on were to tap and plug the head. anyone have any pointers on were to look?

i didnt get my kit from golden eagle i got it off ebay thats prolly were i went wrong
