I just pulled the codes and I got 22 and 23 which are vtec pressure valve and knock sensor. I just had the vtec solenoid sealed with hondabond and the screen cleaned and it the code popped up for vtec pressure. I checked the oil in the car and the level is fine I also checked both connections and they are fine. Any help would be much appreciated to fix both.

I took apart the vtec solenoid and cleaned all the honda bond off and put new oem gaskets in. I still have the vtec pressure valve code popping up. Any input would be much appreciated.

what type of harness do u have....

 

u might have to rewired...

 

its obd1. The problem seemed to be start after trying to fix the leak in the solenoid. I am not 100% sure though.

did you check all the wiring you were handling during installation nothing was nicked or cut?
