Default Was throwing just code 22. Now, 22 is gone and it's CEL code 21, Why?

I have no idea what is going on with my Hybrid. The other day the diagnostic threw code 22 VTEC Oil Pressure Switch defective circuit or unplugged / defective oil pressure switch and I just checked it again this morning and now it's code 21 (VTEC Solenoid Valve defective circuit or unplugged / defective solenoid valve)

I'm going to check the wiring back to the shock tower and ECU and also the connection at the vtec solenoid...

Just have no idea why it would go from one code to the other. I did remove the vtec oil pressure harness the other day and plugged it back in. Maybe it was not on correctly and that is the problem with the solenoid valve

Be back in a minute......

Back ---> Checked the connections and everything looks good. Maybe time to take the car in to a shop :-(

get a multi meter and make sure that you are gettintg voltage at your connections for those two switches. Also, the plugs for the vtec solenoid and oil pressure switch are pretty finicky from my experience, I unplugged mine once to replace a cam plug, and when I took my car out, there was no vtec. It turns out that the plug was not on all the way. Don't take your car to a shop after all the hard work you have done yourself.

Here's what I posted the other day in another post

"I'm also throwing Code 22.
Checked the vtec pressure switch and it's good.

I then checked the voltage for the blue/black wire and grounded the other pointer of the multimeter and only getting 1.03volts. The Helms says it should be close to 12v. I immediately checked the voltage at the battery and getting 12+.

It says to "Inspect for an open or short to ground in the wire between the VTEC pressure switch and the ECM (ECU) C15. If the wire is ok, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck"

Any ideas? Could it possibly be a bad ECU (OBD1 P72 is what I am using)?

I can try my friends ECU (same Hybrid).

Thanks!"

This was when I was throwing code 22 only. Now it's just 21. I was a quart low on oil so I am thinking that could of been the cause of 22. I'll check the voltage again on the harnesses.

Thanks!
