if you are asking this question, you have a little learning to do.

but to asnwer, if you are getting a chipped ecu, you dont need the missing link. and if you plan on using the boost cut feature correctly, the 3 bar will facilitate that a little better. the stock map can only read to 11.2 psi, the 3 bar will allow you to go to 11 psi and still use a boost cut.

Key Features:

GM 3 Bar to allow up to 29 psi of boost
Pressure tested to over 130 psi without leaking
-40 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit optimal temperature operating range
Able to respond from 10% of the pressure scale to 90% of the pressure scale in .001 seconds (the fastest response time of any MAP sensor on the market) which translates into improved boost response.

my question was that if i have a missing link ,could i use that with a tune or would i have to get a 3 bar map..simple question doesnt require a stupid answer.

Don't use a missing link. All that does it trick the ECU. Get a higher bar MAP sensor so your ECU knows what is actually going on.
