WHAT??!!? umm noo a missinglink tricks the map sensor into not seeing boost and a 3 bar mad will jsut do funky things without a chip... stock map sensors will handle 11psi no problem with a chiped pcm.. goind back to bed.. SEARCH

you'll spend thousands of dollars on a turbo setup and not 50 bucks to ensure a proper way to tune the engine?

Probably what you want to do is read up and find out what a missing link does and what a map sensor does(and the different types) and youll have answered your own question..

Don't work on your car yourself. Take it somewhere.

If you're using hondata then get a 3 bar. Hondata reads off the map sensor. You can't use missing link with hondata.

So what you are saying is you have no idea what a missing link is or what it does.

Sure you CAN it just kinda eliminates the point to even having hondata... I guess if you were going ot use check valves (missing link) for whatever reason you would also want to put on a FMU because your ecu will not be reading boost so therefor it will not be giving it more gas when ur in boost so u will fry your motor. I just bought a 3 bar for 55$ of ebay and got a pigtail from a junk yard, took 20 min to put it in, then you just need to have a new chip burned and you did it the right way and you wont have to worry about anything (after u have it tuned) umm blah blah blah you get the point and im a lil tipsy right now so im going to bed, if it dont make sence just ignore it
peace

You know your original post was kinda vague. You should have included what your fuel and EMS setup was gonna be.
FMU = missing link and stock MAP sensor
standalone = no missing link and stock MAP sensor (for up to 10-11 PSI) or 3 bar MAP sensor for 24-25 PSI (or however much 3 bars are good for)

Yes, we were all noobs at one point.. I was a member of honda-tech for like a year before I posted anything, all the time before that I used the search because someone else probably has already asked the questions that I needed answered..
