96 gsr swap.

i was driving about to go play basketball. and i turn the car off, and once i tried to turn back on it would'nt.
i changed the distributor crank sensor and still no spark.

could it be the kill switch?

haha. no. you take it off and then look inside. Let me see if i can geta pic.

 

okay. this is a brand new distributor though.

 

Does the CEL stay ON? Is fuse 41 or 42 under the hood blown? Does the distributor connector have battery voltage? Also check whether the important ground wire on the thermostat housing is loose or corroded.

yes cel stay on. it has voltage. and the thermostat is good. but going to re check. fuses not blown.

 

Have you retrieved the CEL code? It may be informative.

 

Yeah, no need to reinvent the wheel. It's a pretty basic system.

 

mabey the senser under the clutch isnt engaging?

 

Good point. The OP hasn't mentioned whether the starter is cranking the engine.
