Default AC fan only works at highest setting.

89 CRX Si. My blower fan only works when I slide the switch to the last notch. What can I do to fix this or is my climate control busted?

On my 91 si, I replaced my Blower Motor Resistor located behind the glove compartment, and that fixed my fan speed problems.

if it wasn't plugged in then it wouldn't come on at all.

My heater/fan/ac all dont work on the number 1, but work on 2-4. is this problem also with my blower motor resistor?

Yes, there is a wire for each speed. It'll be obvious when you remove the resistor. I think they're about $30 at the dealers.

Thank you for the responses. I will replace my resistor pack.

By the way, soon after I posted this question, I found an article here about this problem, very well written:

So I went to autozone about 5 days ago had to special order the resistor, went to pick it up yesterday. The freaking retards don't even pack it in a box, it was in a little baggy type thing. I see that and instantly open it up and the coils are all smashed flat and the glue is all broken HAHA! So I of course didn't take it and ordered another one. Btw, I spoke to the dealer ship, the resistors cost 50 some dollars... Lol.

Your dealer sucks, Honda recommended retail is 34. Online it is 24.28, part number 79330-SH3-003.
