Default Heater fan issues

The heater fan is not working, it would work intermittently but finally quit. I am unsure if it could be fan switch, heater blower motor ? I have checked fuses and resistor, but should I replace them before buying high dollar item(s)?

Also, when I push the A/C button, turn on the fan **** the engine cooling fans come on? Is this OK?

Thanks for ANY help.

it is more then likely your blower motor and yes that is normal when your ac clucth kick in then the motor is working harder so it needs more air and it keeps your compressor cool as well as the motor what year is it

Wire the fan directly to the battery and if it cuts on the fan is good, if it doesn't cut on then your fan is dead and needs to be replaced.
