i have a few codes and taking care of them 1 by 1. the one im on is p1259. which is vtec malfuction. i also have 2 bad o2 sensors. im running a gutted cat. im converting to obd1 to eliminate my 2nd o2, and replacing my primary 02. my question is would my bad 02 sensors cause me to throw the p1259 code ,or should i replace my vtec solenoid? i already checked the filter , and and the movement of the valve inside.

Just fix all of the easy stuff first (like O2 sensors), and you may have other codes disappear. As for that particular code, I have no idea...
