CKF NO signal code ??
I was wondering if this code would cause vtec not to engage?
ive switched vtec solenoids and oil pressure switches. cleaned filter screen although it was clean and still nothing.
cel I have are ckf no signal and 02 sensor.
its a b16a2 swap, b16a head swapped it 96 civic ex. im using the y8 harness

I don't understand the question. How about fix the CKF and O2 codes and find out? I mean you have to fix them anyway so why not do it?
And how do you KNOW VTEC isn't working?

Because you should hear it? Right. I'm sure that's a a Honda spec. Are you able to rev to redline? Regardless if they would or would not directly affect the almighty VTEC you need to fix these codes. When you fix them you'll have your answer. Why because any CEL seems to stop it from working. Simple.
You should just do a Google search next time and look for "things that affect VTEC"

Sir, you kinda have a dick head attitude. My fact is that I've never had a b16 or gsr motor that you cant hear vtec engage. No offense so take it as you will if the shoe fits.
Can does rev to red line. Its not in limp mode, I've also tried my ecu in another car amd all functioned right.
I understand the point of fixing cel codes, my question if it will effect vtec as not all codes do.

Re: CKF NO signal code ??
So your rationale is to not worry about something like a CEL for O2 if it isn't causing your VTEC not to crack?
Here; for lazy people.
CKF - not responsible for VTEC failure to engage.
O2 sensor - Can be responsible for VTEC malfunctions
So fix the known deficiencies!!!!!

Here's a thread dedicated SPECIFICALLY to "No VTEC issues" found by using a Google search on the H-T domain.

No one told you to Google search. But if you dont know the answer to my question then why are you on my thread. I Google searched it and I didnt find my answer. Thought I would ask the forums and someone who actually knows the answer can give me a direct answer to my question. Not tell me to fix cel. Also considering I said I was gonna fix them. I simply asked does ckf effect vtec engagement. You could have just said no right? Instead you like to act like a dick head.

Re: CKF NO signal code ??
Is it mentioned that the CKF sensor has anything to do with VTEC? Is it in the list the OP gave in that thread? In any "My VTEC isn't working" thread? Did you even bother to do a search? maybe with the keywords "does the CKF prevent VTEC?"
Lemme guess, you want a thread that specifically says that it does, is that it? You can personally attack me all you want but it isn't changing the fact that your answers are right there in front of you.
Fix the broken **** on your car and you'll probably fix your VTEC issue as well.

How are they stupid? I answered your question. You just don't like the answer you got. Keep up with that nasty attitude and see how far it gets you with any post you make.
In the time you've been posting you could have already done the bypass for CKF and gotten your answer. That's ironic right there.

No. I have a blunt delivery. Not to be confused with nastiness. And I will bend over backwards to help people on this forum when they're not sitting around waiting for things to be handed to them.
I tried to get you to find your own answers, When I realized that wasn't happening I had to hand it to you. Convenient that you say you aren't home. Then I wonder what was the rush to get your answer. Go fix your broken car so it runs correctly. When you get home.

Fix the CKF and O2 sensor CEL codes. If the problem remains, then create a new thread in which your posts focus strictly on the tech problem rather than on pointless arguments.
