Icon3 HALP! i think i fried my ECU AND tranny controller! non-working car

VITAL INFO:
2000 accord sedan, F23A1 automatic, EX-Leather
i have a multimeter, so probing stuff is an option

ok, so here is my wack *** situation, somehow, my engine will crank over and run.. but the tach doesnt work and i can not shift out of park, and the little lights on the cluster for PRND21 do not light up

so i used the shift lock override thingy and it slams into gear!

i drove it around my block and i think i only have first gear, also the speedometer did not work

i tried pulling the battery, and pulling the clock light to reset the ecu,

no worky, still is RETARDED

ok also, weird as hell

my power mirrors and power seats work as well as all the lights and the horn and radio and keyless entry and trunk release

but NONE of the power glass works not even the sunroof

ok and i checked the power windows- fuse the one under the hood, it is NOT blown, i even probed the fuse for continuity with my multimeter

You're RETARDED for pullin the clock light to reset the ECU. Try pulling the clock fuse.

As for the shifter interlock, the ECU needs to see the shifter in P (which it doesn't) before it activates the interlock, so it makes sense that it doesn't work for you.

The first thing you need to do is spend a little money on a wire diagram since no one has offered one for you here yet, post it here to the site and then many people will help you read it and tell you what to test.

I say start with the bigger fuses, one big fuse will control many smaller fuses, so this means that there are at least two fuses protecting most circuits. Also there are probably two circuits powering up half and half of the systems on the car so it may be possible that part of the ignition switch may be bad.

We will need a complete list of what does not work, you may have already done that but please be sure, this will help in breaking down the wire diagram.

Did a little research, Fuse 51 underhood, 40 amp, controls the power windows and sunroof. Will wait for complete list or confirmation of complete list completed previously.

Lets see... tach doesn't work and you are unable to shift. That too me points more towards the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) or Transmision Control Unit (TCU).

Is the D4 light or CEL on or have you lost all cluster power?

What have you done lately to the car, anything electrical, a new stereo, aftermarket alarm system or install a remote srtarter?

umm i fixed it, it was a god damn 7.5A fuse for the back up light/instrument light

no friggin idea why that would affect my power windows though :wtf:

cuz at first i checked all the fuses that seemed important, like ecu and power window fuses and under the hood, all were fine then i said **** it and started checking random ****, sure enough found one blown and replaced it, then reset ecu via pullin clock back up fuse, and BAM, fixed

btw i havent done jack **** to my wiring because i am askurred of wiring issues! factory EVERYTHING,. only electical stuff i have done is replace my courtesy lights, map lights and dome light with direct replacement LEDs
