please help!!!!!! no power windows
whats up all. I have a 92 accord lx and for about three months now i had this problem. it all happened at once one day after it rained the next day i started my car to find that none of the guages on the instrument cluster work the only warning light that lights up is the battery light with normal op. the dash clock is out and the power windows dnt work, neither does the rear defroster. b4 the problem i could press the windows up ar dwn and you would get the regular surge showing you that power is being used to operate the windows , now no like its not even power windows. Also the back up lights dnt work. I jus changed the bulbs still no luck. The under dash fuse for the back up lights is gud the terminal itself is not getting ne juice. The under hood fuse box all of the fuses ar gud and ar getting juice to the terminals except the several power windows fuses. I checked all of the grounds under the hood and am not able to find anything. Going mad ova this issue please help. Also day b4 yesterday my car stopped taking gas as if it was full, ba im unable to read the fuel meter because my guages dnt wrk but the tank i kno for certain it is not full. What could this problem be. I've tried to different gas stations ahready and the same thing. The nozzle clicks clicks like it is full and when u remove the nozzle inside the canopy dere is gas slowly seeping in. Thanks all for your help.
Definitely a connection issue.
Did you check your main fuses in engine bay fuse box, if so, how did you check them?
Have you made sure all the plugs on the under dash fuse box are plugged in properly? 94

Hey . Yea i checked the fuses in the engine bay i used a test light and all the fuses ar gud. The power window fuses are gud also i even changed them jus to be on the same side. I used the test light to test the power window terminals and they werent getting any juice. I checked all the fuses with the car on and off. And under the dash everything is plugged in gud nothing loose its just the fuse for the back up lights , its gud but the terminal is not getting juice either. Is their a ground in trunk where the rear lights meet?
No I havent checked the ignition switch kind of thought it could have been an answer but would it really shut dwn the cluster windows and reverse lights like that? And if so how would I test it ? With a multi voltmeter? A co worker was saying he thinks it might be a relay, have u eva heard of a relay doing this? Anyway thanks for all yur help.
The power windows have a relay, 12V+ from a main fuse, [hot at all times] is input to relay, [#30] the cars ign. switch and ICU controls the relay, the relay will turn on when ign. switch is in the run position supplying power to the 4 power window fuses.
Pull the power window relay and test the terminals, there should be one that is 12V+, [hot at all times] and a second one that is 12V+ switched, [hot when ign. switch is on].
Confirm there are two (2) terminals in relay plug that are 12V+ when ign. switch is on.
You can also jump the relay, [#30 and #87] and see if the windows work. 94

Ahright thanks alot will check it 2maro b4 wrk. Sarry my response tuk so long was @ wrk all day. Will definitly check it 2maro and let you kno. Also was reading something on the internet, just something to think about while I check that option , what are the chances it could be a bad alternator ? I havent had any problems starting but their was 1 time the car stalled on me about 5mths ago , ba starting and maintaining a charge hasn't been a prob. Tomorrow while checking the power window relay i will pull the battery terminal off while running to see what it tells me bout the alt... ok thanks again.
