hey guys i have a 91 crx and i just got t bound and its all junk but my front clip. i have a JDM B16A with a cable tranny and it was obd0. i am looking to get a 96 to 2000 4 door civic and i want to put my motor in it but i was wanting to no some things.

would i have to go to obd1 or obd2 and if so what ecu to get?

the tranny would it be best to get a hydro tranny?

you need an obd1 or 2 distributor and injectors. an obd2 engine harness (obd2 a or b depending on year of chassis). an obd2 a/b and a tuned obd1 ecu. easier/cheaper to get a hydro trans and sell your cable trans for the same price or more. you can use whatever axles you have and you will need a few mount brakcets from the ek. also will need 94+teg or 99-00 SI shift linkage. i think thats about it.

yeah the obd-2 a or b depends on the year of the chassis you are using, they made small differance starting in 99 i think (obd2b) and you would get an obd1 ecu because there is no obd2 ecu that has a map for you JDM motor. not to mention that your motor is obd0 and is missing sensors that would be needed in order to run obd2. you will need to get an obd1 ecu chipped and tuned custom for your setup. should run about $100 for the ecu and $200 for the tune. you will also need a conversion harness in order to run obd1(it goes from the obd2 harness and allows to you plug in an obd1 ecu) or you can cut yer harness and wire in a set or ecu plugs from a 92-95.
