Dsm 450's on honda ecu
i am just a little confused about these injectors. I heard that the way they are set up will burn a honda injector control up. i know that hondata says it has some side effect such as running lean at partial throttle, and tuning made difficult and hard start up. They also say it will not work on honda ecu. but they dont give you any reason as why. and no proof so if some one has proof or opinion i would like to hear.

DSM injectors are Peak/Hold ie. low resistance (2-4 ohm) injectors. The Honda injectors are Saturated high resistance (10-14ohm) injectors. The Honda ecu drivers are high impedance drivers. If you directly wire the DSM injectors to the stock ecu, the lower resistance will cause an increase in current an burn up the injector drivers. Think about getting too low an impedance setup on an amplifier...
You must run low impedance injectors with a resistor box. We do it all the time.
Wiring information is on http://www.phearable.net/tech

so they say even dsm with a resistor box will still burn up the ecu. i checked with alot of people and said that for the price you can't beat it and no one complained about frying ecu's.
