Nope, ITB's are only used on naturally aspirated/all motor setups with high compression.

actually... a few people on here have used itb's w/ boost. Tonythetiger is the one of them. You have to make a plenum for them.

Yes, I've seen it done before. One of the craziest ones I've seen was a BMW M6 with a Dinan turbo kit that the owner had swapped for a much larger turbo - that one sounded mean as a Jack Daniels drinking rattlesnake when you floored it. The way to make it work is to have the ITBs draw their air from a box that is connected to the intercooler.

Not true.

You can use ITBs on a turbocharged setup. You need to build a plenum around the ITBs in order to do it, obviously.

It allows equal distribution of air into each cylinder and therefore a more efficient engine. Arguabley not a big enough difference to justify them however.

Yes you can and just as in NA will provide improved throttle response. Personally, I would not go any other way.

Please do not post if you do not know the answer. This just amplifies the misinformation on the internets.

A quick search on this site would have shown you otherwise.

Yes you can boost ITB's......FYI ITB's are stock on the Nisan Sunny Pulsar GtiR.

They are excellent with or with boost, it's a bit costly but it's good if you got the funds for it. I'll put ITB's in my ride if I got the funds to do it.

When people boost their M3's(newer ones) their boosting the car with ITB's BTW.

An ITB setup has been used on many turbo cars in formula cars for

years. Not worth the complication in drag racing to me though.
