Default what turbo do i need???

i have a 84.5mm sleeved gsr block that im boosting and my goal is anywhere from 475- 550 hp on no more than 25-28psi boost. Money is not an option cause i plan on doing this right the first time, so ill spend watever for a reliable set up. What turbo dhould i run that wont have that much lag and wont give me clearance problems for a/c? Thanks in advance!

im using this manifold in my dc2r although it is LHD in Australia, i still retain aircon and power steering.

i am using a gt3037s garret ball bearing turbo.

i hope this helps.

our log manifold will not help you reach those powergoals

i'd recommend this we had a similar design ( short runner length) on 1quikgsr's car and it made 520 on 19 psi on an SC61 t3 flanged turbo on an 84MM block

** the manifold posted above is ac compatible***

of course we have our other manifolds for non-AC setups just PM us to view your options
full-race is an excellent option also of course**

as for turbo i'd go garrett GT40R or as previously stated S362

If i were to go with a precision sc61, would that require more boost to make 500hp that the s362 turbo?

Yes. in a way. If the engine is as sleeved as you say, then the amount of "pressure" is not going to be that relevant,so that shouldn't be a problem. For each pound of pressure injected into the intake manifold, there is about 15 degrees of additional heat that is also injected. This could lead to detonation. The Extended Tip Technology of a BW turbocharger (where the inducer is actually taller by about 20 percent) allows one to run more pressure, but with lower Intake Air Temperatures.

see money is not the issue, but at the same time im not trying to waste any. Bw turbo is more money than a sc61. so will the bw make more power with less boost than the sc61 cause if they make the same then im going with the precision?

Yes, the S362 is a more efficient turbocharger per lbs/min than an SC61. The Sc61 is the same as the T61/GT3540S/ etc.

Stop looking at the power based upon just boost. There is much more to getting an efficiently large amount than boost alone.

if you want a t3 base turbo , and you dont mine spending a few bucks get a gt35r , but for cheaper with out the same spool up with close power is a t3/gt40.
