cluster problem.

Default cluster problem.

my cluster on my eg used to work but over the weekend it was flickering and just stop working.speedo,tach,gas and temp works but the back light just shut down.what could it be.i checked fuses and they are good.can anyone help me out

loose wire @ the connector??? fudged up printed circuit in ip???

so should i check the back of the cluster.make sure the plugs didnt get messed up

ever remove your cluster? its not too hard.
just use a screw driver and make sure you get the screw hidden behind the clock.

make sure all the connections are tight, have you removed your radio lately?

i'd also check the fuses if you havent.

i havent moved the radio for a few months.

mine is jacked too .. my climate control lights work but my gauge lights etc do not lol sucks driving at night i've tried using diff clusters, replacing blubs, fuses .. i checked my wires/plugs with a multi meter .. and they have 2 + connections and no - so its not getting a ground .. or something idk how to fix it unless i rewire the entire thing.

what about the dimmer switch? check that
my ek did the same thing and its a pain to drive at night
