Icon3 GT series FAST TURBO coolant lines instruction

Well the search function on the "new" h-T is absolutely horrible and i can't find anything.

I lost my instructions for my fast-turbo coolant line setup for gt turbo's. Its the complete kit.

Anyone have a copy of the instructions, or just give a quick brief run down?

Thanks

What do you need to know? Screw the fittings on and run the lines. Where are you tapping from?

Well i got that far obviously. lol

The question i had was the tapping part.

1 go's to the water pipe coming out of the water pump correct? You just drill and weld the fitting there i assume.

Where does the other one go? Some people say drill and tap on the water neck, so.. the one coming from thermostat or from the head?

I hate this new search on here, it is the biggest pile if crap ever created...

check HT sponsor b & r fittings. he has a feed fitting that screws onto the front of your block. very nice piece since it eliminates tapping for a feed. Tapping for a return is inevitable.

I realize that, but that is for the B&R fitting correct? As stated in the thread title, i don't have that kit, and i am not going to spend extra money on another fitting when i already have everything i need, just not sure where to tap the other one and looking for prior experience on the matter..

the B*R is a bolt in fitting

the fast turbo water line kit is a weld kit

Bro please stop riding the BW bandwagon. BW are great turbos no question about that. Every single thread you post in pertaining to anything FI you mention BW even if its about Garrett. Not to long ago I do recall you were a garrett fan.

Anyway, I would run that B&R fitting, its cheap and easy to do not to mention its position is good as far as pressure goes.

not to go off topic but its funny you mention this, me personally I have not seen one true dyno graph that shows me Borg is superior to Garrett, the graphs on their site certainly dont sway me, along with the large mismatch in comp/turbine wheel selections I was looking at the other day. Just because the big guys have gone faster with the S372 does not make it a better turbo, or one that requires constant bragging. To be honest the graphs I have seen not coming from Bullseye's site always appear to be laggier than a comparable Garrett graphs, with Borg turbo's usually making slightly more power up top....just my off topic .02
