Finally got a test light lol so i have from the cable from the battery and i have power from the rem wire only from the back of the stereo i tested it on the back of the rem wire that connects to the amp and theres no power now maybe its cause i didnt hook the clip part of the test light up right but where do i clip the little clip and the other part has like a part that looks like an ice pick lol im so not good at this anyway if u can help sweet
You must ground the test light for it to work, connect the "clip" part to a ground point in the car, [same place amp is grounded] then touch the probe, ["ice pick"] to the wire/cable you want to test, the test light should light up.
Try it at the batt. first, clip to one batt. terminal and probe to the other terminal, the test light will light up. 94

Ok so i tested it all and the batt + is good good ground but the rem wire doesnt light the light up, i connected it to the rem wire that runs from the back of the headunit and it lights but not at the end of the car in the trunk so should i just run a new rem wire

Ditto the above^^^.
Also you can do a quick test, disconnect the remote at the amp, [just in case it is a short] and use a jumper lead from the amps batt. power terminal to the remote terminal, amp should turn on. 94

use a fused (3-5a) lead. That way if the amp is in fault/protect mode it will blow the fuse
and not kill the amp.
I have seen this happen way to many times before when you don't know what the cause
of an amp failure is.
Well thanks for all the help guys i got that test light and from there it was good lol i found that i guess the rem wire wasnt long enough and someone attached another piece of the wire and the seats that go up and down inthe back of my car must of wiggled them loose but now im back bumping thanks everyone
