Hey, I pulled my amp wires through my car today.

2 questions

1)I hooked it all up. All the wires except the remote turn on works. The antenna comes up, but no power goes through. How can i test it without a meter?

2)I'm using 8 gauge power wire. the amp has some thing probably 16 gauge wire for the power. how should i hook the 8 to the 16 securely?

do you have a deck? or are you using your stock hu? you could test the wire with a test light. 16 for a power wire is really small for an amp...im sure your 8 will fit in there..

 

answer to question one. wire ur antenna together with ur remote wire and then it works.
