I have a Visionik powered sub in my trunk with the wires attached. I put it in today, but when i run my car the light for power doesent turn on. I changed the fuse for the amp with no sucess. I know its your all gonna tell me its big no no, but im running the power wire through the side of the hood near the door, than under the panel, than to my trunk. The Wire that i baught was to short to run to my battery, so i had to buy another wire and cut it and connect it to the fuse to the battery. I over checked the ground wire and RCA's and their all fine. I just can't figure out why theres no power going to my sub. The fuse on the power wire is brand new as well. Help would be appreciated. You did not mention the remote wire. It might be the problem or it could be the + or -. You need a volt meter to test the power if it is getting any. If it is not then you need to work your way back to the battery. If it i getting power then you might have a bad amp.
