what are some signs of a junk dizzy? My car is starting up and running, but it runs like ****. It feels like its loosing power from like 0-50....It takes me toooo damn long to get to 60...i know its automatic z6...but still. When Im at a stop sign or light....It jerks like it wants to cut off or sumthing.

 

Open up the distributor cap and inspect the inside of the cap and rotor. Thats a foolproof way of diagnosing most of the dizzy's probable problems. Check for red dust while you're in there. Let us know what you find!

 

 

look for corrosion on the cap and rotor button

 

no corrosion...no red dust...no damage to the cap or rotor...my guess is its not the dizzy making the car run like this...like its missing...it has new plugs and wires...
