Default Does aftermarket gauges need fuses?

Hi guys, Just searched around, but seems nobody will ask something like this.

I'm adding the oil press, volt and water temp gauges to my car. there are 2 hot wires from each of the gauge.
Do I have to give a fuse to each of those hot wires? totally like 8 fuses.

usually how much power would they draw? I bundled 4 hot wires into one connector and connected it to the ACC option (3) power outlet from the under-dash fuse box, and other 2 hot wires connected to the IG2 (4) Option power outlet as well as from the fuse box.

Is that the correct way to power up the gauges? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Here is a diagram of the fuse box.

what kind of gauges do you have? faze? My autometers only had one power. Anyways, its not completely necessary they be used, however if it becomes shorted your in a little trouble. They're designed to work on a 12 volt circuit, but i dont know how many amps they draw

those gauges are some major Taiwan brands named AutoGauge.
I don't know how they designed, but they have 2 hot wires on each gauge.
for example, the water temp gauge, it has 6 wires: 2 hots, 2 grounds, 1 to the dash board, 1 to the sender unit.

I just follow the instructions and connect all of them, and it works...so, I don't know why they have 2 hot wires.

but just curious about the fuse, other friend told me i need to put fuses on them...the questions, do I really have to ?

ah, its probably like depo fog lights then, take the 2 powers and 2 grounds, twist the two together at the end to make one wire and go from there, thats my guess.

might as well run a fuse even if its a low amp draw just because a 5 amp fuse is far cheaper than a new gauge.

Thanks for the reply...ya, that's true, a 5amp fuse for just in case.
but does 5amp per gauge is good enough?

5 amp should be good, but you can hook a ohm meter in series with the circuit and see the amp draw and see what size you need if you have to
