Default help..drag 3 oil sender tee leaking like crazy

Just put my drag 3 kit on and I'm having a hard time getting the tee that comes with the kit to seal in my gsr block where I removed the factory oil sender. I can screw the sender in like 8 turns but the tee will only go in three turns max! I tried teflon tape, pipe dope, rtv high temp sealant and no luck its still leaking after a short drive. The threads on the tee where clean when I installed it so why isn't it going in like 8 turns?? Im about ready to JB Weld this thing ...any advice please help! Thanks

The tee and the whole in the block aren't the same threading...

look for a 1/8" NPT to 1/8" BSPT adapter...

Autozone sells a gauge adapter kit that has the adapter you need in it.... made by sunpro I believe.

Yep they sure do. Just don't over tighten the brass adapter or it will snap off in your block.

Thanks alot guys went up and got the adapter kit and some thread sealant..put it all together and no leaks. Wish the instructions for the kit would say you need to get this adapter rather than just screw it right in! O well thanks for the help..on to improving my fuel management and tuning this beast

hey i heard that it's good to run a little -an line off the block before the T so it won't be exposed to heavy vibration and possibly break off in the block. If so, what fittings should i use? I was thinking this:

block->1/8 to -4AN adapter-> 6 inches of -4AN line->Tee-> rest of -4AN line

is it 1/8npt or 1/8bsp for the oil sender soruce? if it's bsp all i saw on summit's site is earl's 1/8npt to -4an adapter... no 1/8bsp to -4an. Can anyone clear this up for me?
