HELP**D16y7 Swap into EG
i just did a d16y7 swap into an EG and it doesnt wanna start.
the motor came out from an other swap EG and we started the motor before we pulled it out
it had the same ECU and the motor was out from a 96 civic so its OBD1
im guessing the injectors will not open up because if i spray fuel in to the TB it starts for a while and yes its giving spark

96 is obd2 amigo!!! what your lacking is fuel pulse....... what did you do about converting your obd1 dizzy to a 2?? what ecu are you using??
Does the check engine light come on, then go out after you turn the key into the on position? Do you hear a faint clink type noise from under the dash when the check engine lught goes out, if it goes out?
Check the ground location at the thermostat housing. If it's loose/not bolted down it can cause no starts and no fuel pressure.

Not that its really relevant, but it didn't come out of a '92 coupe, they don't exist. For whatever reason honda didn't introduce the coupe until '93
